Free Write#2
It was a dark and stormy night in Perry. My parents where going out to dinner while i was getting baby set by one of my mom's best friends daughter. We were watching a movie when we heard a noise in the basement. I told my babysitter to go see and she told me i should go with her but we were both frightened. We decided that it was probably my cat making that noise in the basement. But than we heard a knock at the door. My babysitter told me she was going to answer it just in case something happens. She opened the door and there was a soft scream and a loud slam at the door. That really startled me and I was really scared. I went to look what had happened and when i came there my babysitter was gone and the vase by the door was broken in pieces. I was about to cry but told my self that I should stay calm and call the police. I dialed 911 in panic. I told the police what had happened and they said to lock all doors and they will be right there. They knocked the door bell 5 minutes later. They wanted me to tell them what had happened again so they could write a police report.
The police started to search around for some clues but found nothing except the broken vase. My parents came rushing in to the house to see why police cars where there. I told them the story and they couldn't believe it and were glad I was okay. They have been searching for the past 24 hours and found nothing. But one night we got a knock on the door who is a police officer picked the note up. The note said Hello, I wouldn’and there was a note my brothert search for your little friend because you will never find her and when you do it will be too late and you will never find me. It had been a week and we finally came upon a deserted storage house it sounded like some was in there because there was a terrible scream. The police came quickly and surrounded the place. When the police came people were walking around and an old lady bumped into me. She had wrinkled face and had a cape on. When she bumped into me a the same writing on the note we got dropped from her cape. I told the police and they quickly went after her and she started to run. They finally got her at sent her to prison. They checked the storage but didn’t find any trace of my babysitter. They caught the lady but my babysitter was never found. And yet why the lady kidnapped her.

The best part of fall is racking the leaves. Racking the leaves is so much because I get to see the different types of leaves and the different colors they are. When the leaves are all in the pile it’s like there is a big rainbow right in front of me. I think racking leaves is kind of a mystery because you never know how big the pile will be or how far you will go when you burst into the leaves. Sometimes after I jump in I throw the leaves up into the air. The smell of the leaves I cant really pin point I think the smell is one thing than the other. One of my favorite things of jumping into the leaves is hearing the crackling of the old brown ones. When I rack leaves I feel happy. But racking leaves and jumping into them are not the only thing I like about leaves. I also like seeing them change their color from green to red, purple, yellow, brown and many more. I love seeing the trees being full of leaves one day than bare the next. Sometimes it seems like magic. I don’t like going to rake leaves right when they fall I like to let them sit and the ones that haven’t let them fall on to collect the ones who are odd from all the others. Sometimes I like to collect the odder leaves and keep them until they dry out. Another thing I like to do during fall is drawing. I like to drawing because I think fall is the most beautiful season. All the colors and the sights around the falling leaves. With drawing I feel happy because I love seeing all those colors. In my drawings it seems that the leaves make my picture look more creative, the leaves just stand out. I think that racking leaves and drawing are my favorite things to do in fall.
